Glu Mobile has extended its deal with Sega, picking up Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Golf 2D and Sega Rally as licenses. -- Ad-funded games company Cellufun has launched some new games under its Mob Hill Casino brand, including Video Poker, Black Jack and slots. The games will have a shared "bank" (which keeps Cellupoints, which are what people win) which can be made in one game and played in another, reports Mobile Entertainment.

Industry Moves: EA Mobile Names Ex-Voda Exec Tim Harrison EU Marketing Director

-- EA has appointed Barry Cottle as SVP and GM of EA Mobile, heading all of the mobile business worldwide. EA Mobile falls under the recently formed label EA Casual Entertainment, which is led by Kathy Vrabek. Prior to this, Cottle was CEO and co-founder of mobile business software developer QuickOffice. Before QuickOffice, he was COO of Palm. He also served at Walt Disney Company as SVP of marketing for Disney TeleVentures.

Digital Chocolate Buys Gaming Studios In India and Spain

EA Teams Up With Hasbro For Digital Games; Exclusive Until 2013
